Have you ever done something so stupid you don’t know why or how it happened or even if it really happened?  Like going to the grocery store and leaving your wallet at home?  Or worse, leaving it on the counter at the store after you paid for your purchases?  Man I hate when that happens.  Usually I’m not all that dumb but some days I wonder why I even got out of bed.  Maybe someone will send me a check by phone and make the whole day go away.

I was riding down Okeechobee Boulevard yesterday and I saw a new car dealership, well not new, but I hadn’t noticed it before.  In this economy I was surprised too.  It was  a high-end foreign car dealership.  There was a big sign out front about Ferrari parts and help wanted for mechanics.  I used to know a foreign car mechanic and boy howdy they made a lot of money.  I wonder if this place pays like that.  But I also noticed more people are fixing their cars instead of buying new ones too.  A sign of the times.

Oh don’t even make me diet again.  I don’t think I can bear it.  If I just knew what the  best fat burners were it would be so much easier.  Why do I always like the fattening stuff?  I swear someday they are going to discover lettuce and cottage cheese are fattening and chocolate is not.  But until that day, well, you know what I have to do don’t you?  Yup, diet.  And it stinks.  It truly does.

What with all the talk about the government and health care I am really scared of what they are going to do.  I was looking at different states and what they did and when I saw the  NC health insurance they looked like they really knew what they were doing.  I don’t think the government has the ability to run health care, not after seeing the Medicare mess.  The numbers do not add up no matter how many times I read it.  Scary stuff…

Well next week is the family Christmas cruise.  There are two formal nights.  None of the guys are going to wear a tuxedo but the gals are wearing gowns.   Well not me, but the younger ones.  The guys are just wearing suits.  It will be fine, most do not wear formal wear any longer, more cocktail like clothing.  They always take lots of photographs whlie they are all dressed up too.  I love to see them all.
